a diptych of ferrotyped gelatin silver prints, each mounted, one annotated '1-2' and '1 [circled]' in pencil on the reverse, each framed, 1988; accompanied by a label from Studio Bernd & Hilla Becher, signed by Max Becher (3) Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. These prints are in generally excellent condition. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface and minor pitting are visible in raking light. There are a few barely discernible deposits of original retouching. On the reverse of the mount that bears the photographers’ annotations,'75' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand.
